1-Day Short Trip

Yeah! Hope I'm up to date.

It's weekend. We planned to go in JB early to buy our necessary stuffs and came out early. Meet 12pm at Kranji, no queue for the bus and short queue at custom.

We know where we want to go. Cabbed straight to Holiday Plaza for our contact lens, walked and looked around for anything necessary.

Cam-whore while cabbing there. It's drizzling that day, not so bad.

After that, we cabbed back to Citysquare for our lunch which was around 3 pm. Our first meal of the day.

StoneGrill. Our first try.. Not so bad.

I looked like I have a just-wake-up eye. LOL.

We noticed that the soup-based noodles was a 2-person serving, and it came with hotstone underneath. Before we knew it, we already ordered Tom Yam noodles (Spicy) & Chicken Noodles (Non-spicy) with additional grilled hotstone (side dish).

Our side dishes. We changed the fish fillet to additional prawn and sotongs, with choose-your-own complimentary sides; marsh potato and french fries.

We actually thought we can cooked ourselves without any helps from the staffs. End up, we need assistance from them as it's hard for us to multi-task while eating.

Our first tried.. Prawn didn't even cut half.

SEE! The prawns were nicely cut and curled up. HAHA.

I remembered the overall bill was around SGD $20 per pax, considered quite cheap I think.

And we bus-ed back to S'pore, as we reserved Teoheng singing at 6pm. We need rushed back to Singapore, and to SSC.

And while waiting for train, also took pictures.

We rushed but we're still late for 15 mins. Booked for 2 hours and wanted to extend the hours but it's all packed, no more slot available. Sad!

After singing, BFs joined us for dinner, Chomp chomp at late night. Filling dinner.

Drove us home after dinner.

That day was a enjoyable day, no time wasted (:

But I felt super tired end of the day, woke up near noon the next day.

August Babies' (:

There're a few August babies this month.

After ZH's b'dae, followed by Karen & Fify's birthday celebration.

It's Karen birthday. We've called Seafood Paradise to reserve seats for dinner.

Ordered crabs and other foods.

They went in to take a seats first.

After dinner, celebration starts. We bought from Grin Affair, near Outram Park.

Followed by Fify's celebration at PS. Cafe @ Dempsey Hill. Seats were also reserved before that day.

Yvonne missing. She was sick that day, unable to join us.

A failed birthday surprised.

This cake was meant to be a surprise for her, but the waitress lighted up the candle in front of of the counter, where it facing the birthday girl. Because our seats were directly in front of the counter, where the foods were all be served out.

And she trying very hard to avoid it, but it's hard. HAHA

After a long trick, she finally got her birthday present.

It was the joke of the day of that trick.

The Kindle Touch that she wanted for long. Now, it's convenient for her, bag lighten and many books can stored in the kindle and read throughout her journey (:

Dessert time..

I had forgotten the name of dessert.

Overall, I will head back for their dessert but not their main courses. It's too costly. If you are a fan of cream sauce, you can try Flamed Prawn Tortiglioni. Nice. But I prefer Chicken Parmigiano, as I am fan of tomato sauce instead (:
